What is the human touch? Like is it something quantifiable/easily distinguishable using words?

Personally, I don’t think AI will ever fully replace human authors when it comes to storytelling and artistic expression. Sure, AI can generate technically solid writing, but great storytelling is about more than just word flow and structure—it’s about lived experiences, emotions, and unique perspectives that an AI simply doesn’t have.

That said, AI can be a powerful tool for writers. It can help brainstorm ideas, overcome writer’s block, or even assist in world-building. But at the end of the day, the best stories come from real people with real experiences, emotions, and creativity.

I think the best way to integrate AI into writing is to use it as a creative assistant rather than a creator. It can help with brainstorming, structuring ideas, or even overcoming writer’s block, but the final voice and emotion should always come from the writer. Kind of like how a painter might use digital tools to enhance their work but still bring their own vision to life
